Job Title: Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing technical solutions to support our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain technical plans and procedures for in-service support (ISS) programs
  • Provide comprehensive ISS program and Through Life Management Plan (TLMP) planning
  • Lead cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to achieve program objectives
  • Manage databases, research, and analyze data to inform technical assessments and recommendations
  • Develop proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Quotes for Emergent Work Requests
  • Collaborate with industry partners on repair and overhaul, obsolescence management, upgrade planning, failure monitoring, and analysis, and spares inventory management
  • Support and/or lead the development of complex Engineering Changes (ECs) including upgrades to Radar Systems
  • Travel to Fleet Maintenance Facility (FMF) sites and OEM facilities as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Excellent analytical capacity to interpret data and link to underlying causes
  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint, MS Project
  • Experience working with manufacturers of defense and naval and/or aerospace equipment an asset
  • Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment required
