Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Primary Health Care Services in Regina. As a caregiver and support worker, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents, promoting their optimum level of functioning.
About the Role:
This is a part-time temporary position that requires 168 hours of work per 6 weeks, with 8-hour shifts. You will be working in a community-based setting, providing services in clinic and home settings, including rural areas within the Primary Health Care Networks (Regina). Travel is required to various community sites.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients/patients/residents to promote independence and self-advocacy.
- Support clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.
- Work independently, utilizing strong organizational and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) is required.
- No previous experience is necessary, but a valid driver's license and Food Safe certificate (where required) are preferred.
- You must have basic computer skills, organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
