About the Role

This exciting opportunity is part of WTW's CRB Graduate Development Program (GDP), a non-rotational two-year-program that provides hands-on experience, insight, and opportunities to make an impact and shape your own career.

As a GDP participant, you will be immersed in a 1-week-in-person orientation followed by a robust onboarding training learning about various functions within WTW. Our program is designed to provide graduates with a well-rounded understanding of the industry while having the opportunity to deep dive within their respective business area.

Job Description

As a Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering superior results for our clients' business and risk management needs through deep industry-specific expertise.

You will work closely with our clients to assess, model, and structure risk, utilizing your analytical skills to identify opportunities and challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to help our clients mitigate their total cost of risk by gathering information and analytics to evaluate client risks, creating Loss Summaries, and reviewing program binders for accuracy.

You will also assist more experienced brokers in preparing draft submission documents, reviewing quotes against specifications, and developing side-by-side comparisons. Additionally, you will research market solutions to learn how to identify and develop optimum risk solutions for clients.

Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver high-quality work products, meet deadlines, and build strong relationships with our clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Gather information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks to support the placement of client risks into the market.
  • Create Loss Summaries, review program binders for accuracy, check policies, and aid brokers & senior brokers.
  • Prepare draft submission documents and finalize submissions for delivery with the support of more experienced brokers.
  • Review quotes against specifications and develop side-by-side comparisons with the support of more experienced brokers.
  • Research market solutions to learn how to identify and develop optimum risk solutions for clients.
  • Facilitate initial introductions to carriers and trading partners.
  • Begins understanding core insurance principles and brokerage concepts.
  • Ensure quality and compliance procedures and processes are adhered to.
  • Record and maintain all information accurately on appropriate systems.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as a strong ability to work in a team environment.

You must also obtain the required insurance license within ninety (90) days of your date of hire and maintain an active surplus lines license for your resident state.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
