Job Title: Shawarma House Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team at Shawarma House.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Efficient Work Schedules: Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff members who prepare and portion food, providing guidance on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Hiring and Performance Management: Recruit and manage a team of skilled food service staff, including training and development programs.
  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare accurate budget and cost estimates, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive reputation for Shawarma House.
  • Inventory Control and Reporting: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, generating regular reports for management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Language: Fluency in English is necessary for effective communication with staff and customers.
  • Work Schedule: A standard 40-hour workweek is expected.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
