Childcare Professional

At Mini Retreat Childcare Inc., we are seeking a dedicated Childcare Professional to join our team. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will lead activities through storytelling, songs, and outings, and assist early childhood educators with record-keeping. Your creativity will shine as you encourage children to express themselves through art, play, music, and physical activity. You will also guide children in eating, dressing, and toileting habits, and observe them for learning or behavioral issues, preparing reports as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a College/CEGEP education, 2 years to less than 3 years experience in a related field, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be knowledgeable about licensing regulations and able to establish behavior guidelines.
