Job Description: Hotel Room Attendant

We are seeking a skilled and diligent Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at Accor Hotel. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms and public spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing Guest Rooms: Ensure that all assigned guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, including dusting, making beds, removing soiled linen and garbage, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning and disinfecting, and replenishing rooms with supplies.
  • Maintaining Cleaning Standards: Consistently update and record all cleaned rooms using mobile devices and follow detailed cleaning standards as set by Accor Hotel's ALL Safe Stay Well Leading Quality Assurance and Accor brand standards.
  • Reporting Maintenance Needs: Report any maintenance needs required in guest rooms, service areas, and public spaces.
  • Communicating with Team Members: Communicate any specific guest requests or concerns with a Housekeeping leader.
  • Participating in Deep Cleaning: Participate in deep cleaning of rooms as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly Responsible and Reliable: Be highly responsible and reliable.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision.
Physical Demands:
  • Standing and Walking: Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Kneeling, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting: Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Ladders, Stairs, Ramps: Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Standing for entirety of 8-hour shift.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is around $45,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, Accor Hotel offers a range of benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

This is a full-time position requiring weekend, holiday, and shift work as scheduled.
