About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Coordinating patient flow and clinical staff resources to ensure seamless delivery of care">
  • Supervising and supporting clinical teams to achieve quality care outcomes">
  • Providing guidance and coaching to staff members experiencing performance or attendance issues">
  • Participating in policy development and procedure implementation related to nephrology care">
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based practice">
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and program planning">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A regulated health professional designation (e.g., RN, LPN) in good standing with the relevant college">
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent Nephrology clinical experience">
  • A certificate in C Neph (C)">
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education programs related to Nephrology, Clinical Leadership, and/or other relevant practice areas">
  • Experience working with patients receiving conservative management">
  • Knowledge and experience in dialytic modalities, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home dialysis">
  • Able to discern relevant information to make effective decisions regarding patient care and program planning">
  • Highly developed conflict resolution skills">
  • Well-developed ability to delegate tasks appropriately">
  • Commitment to professional development and learning">
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills">
  • Ability to work independently and effectively lead clinical inter-professional teams">
  • Proven ability to analyze research and implement evidence-based practice into policy and procedure development and clinical practice">
  • Proven attendance record">
  • Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures">

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, it would be an asset if you have:

  • ">
  • A Master's Degree in a health-related subject">
  • 2 years of relevant progressive experience in leadership roles">
  • Recognized Management Certificate/Training, such as OHA Certification in Clinical Administration">
  • Ability to speak a second language">
