Collision Repair Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Collision Repair Specialist to join our team at Imperial Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition.
About the JobThis is a permanent full-time position requiring 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Job Requirements- Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair and restoration
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clean and maintain workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
- Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies, including replacing front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
- File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
- Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
- Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces
- Repair or replace interior components
- Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
- Mix paint, blend, and match colors
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
- Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
