We are seeking an Early Career Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join our team in Saskatoon. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in achieving our goal of making sustainability happen.

About the Role

This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive total compensation package including comprehensive benefits, vacation, and wellness initiatives. You will work closely with senior team members to prepare health and safety plans, coordinate field programs, and supervise subcontractors. Key responsibilities include participation in all facets of environmental or contaminated site projects, project coordination, field sampling, and reporting.

You will conduct field programs involving sampling and monitoring of soil, groundwater, soil vapour, sediment, surface water, and remediation system operation and maintenance. Conducting analyses, interpretations, and conclusions with support and mentorship from senior technical experts is also a crucial aspect of this role.

In addition to preparing a variety of environmental reports, you will support project managers with planning, reporting, and tracking schedules and budget as part of project financial management. A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites/clients. A minimum of a degree or technical diploma in environmental science, engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or environmental related studies is essential. Previous experience in contaminated site assessment and remediation programs is preferred, as well as exposure to fieldwork including sample collection and handling.
