About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time Facilities Coordinator to join our team at CPPI Group. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for managing two 12-unit buildings.

Responsibilities

As a Part Time Facilities Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to tenants, responding to their inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining the common areas of the buildings, including hallways, stairways, baseboards, exterior mailboxes, handrails, and door handles.
  • Performing general repairs and maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, changing roof filters, and washing and changing room furnace filters.
  • Coordinating with contractors and tradespeople to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Scheduling move-in and move-out inspections, conducting walk-throughs, and completing inspection reports.
  • Assisting with leasing and showings of units, including showing units to prospective tenants, communicating with management, and coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs.
  • Monitoring parking, issuing warnings, and dealing with bylaw enforcement if necessary.
  • Reporting to management on any issues or concerns related to tenants, maintenance, or other building-related matters.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
