Arborist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arborist Assistant to join our team at les Jardins de la Passion inc. As an essential member of our landscape maintenance crew, you will be responsible for pruning, trimming, and weeding trees and plants in various locations.

• Operate chain saws and other small engine equipment to maintain trees and plants
• Clean and prepare work sites, including loading and unloading tools and equipment from a pick-up truck
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness to perform physically demanding tasks
• Work safely and follow all safety protocols to avoid accidents and injuries

• Diploma or certificate in horticulture, arboriculture, or a related field
• 1 year of experience in tree pruning, trimming, and maintenance
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights

• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat
• May work at heights using aerial lifts or ladders
• Must be able to handle heavy loads and navigate uneven terrain

• Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
