Hotel Revenue Strategist

The Junior Cluster Revenue Manager role at Coast Hotels offers a unique opportunity for an analytically oriented individual to drive revenue growth and gain invaluable knowledge in the field of Revenue Management.
As a key member of the Revenue Management team, you will contribute to the overall success of the company by maximizing all revenue opportunities across our hotels. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Revenue Management team in achieving its goals, ensuring that all revenue streams are optimized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a rolling action plan per hotel within the assigned cluster to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Lead weekly Revenue Strategy meetings and assist in rate strategy planning to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly RM reports per hotel within the cluster, highlighting key performance indicators and revenue growth opportunities.
- Design and maintain all revenue management-related tools and reports, including Demand Forecast, Pace, and Market Segmentation, to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third-party Market Managers to ensure maximum exposure opportunities on their individual sites.
- Maintain accurate rate parity among all sites for the assigned cluster, cross-referencing rates and packages to ensure consistency.
- Conduct competitive analysis to drive Hotel Market Share and Revenue Performance using STR data.
- Foster collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Distribution teams to ensure strategic decisions are made and implemented effectively.
- Ensure sales and pricing strategies are grounded in sound commercial judgment through effective analysis and reporting.
- Optimize system utilization, adhering to company best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities while minimizing risks through thorough information gathering and analysis.
- Support Corporate RM-related projects as needed.
- Travel may be required.
About You:
- A post-secondary education in a tourism or hospitality field is required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in revenue or reservations management in hotels is preferred.
- Previous Front Office, Reservations, or Sales experience is beneficial.
- Strong computer literacy in Excel and Hotel Concepts IDPMS/IDCRS is preferred.
- Excellent Internet research skills and navigation expertise.
- Detailed-oriented with strong numerical aptitude.
- Proven analytical, decision-making, and negotiating skills.
- A team player with key impact and influence abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working under deadline pressures.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
