Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Systematix. Our company is a global consulting and resourcing firm headquartered in Canada, with offices across North America and the United Kingdom.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and support the implementation of tools and systems that optimize business processes. You will work closely with developers to design and test integration flows, and provide training and support to internal users on new systems and processes.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with APIs, data mapping, and familiarity with platforms like Mulesoft, Salesforce, and Conga. This role requires a proactive communicator and problem solver who thrives in a remote, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements to design and implement data mapping solutions between systems.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of API functionality and integration techniques to support business processes.
- Design and test integration flows with developers.
- Support Salesforce customization and configuration efforts to meet business needs.
- Oversee and contribute to the implementation of Conga solutions, including template development and contract lifecycle management.
- Conduct process analysis and propose improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform testing (UAT), validation, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth deployment of new features and integrations.
- Provide training and support to internal users on new systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role, with demonstrable experience in working with APIs and integration projects, data mapping and transformations across multiple systems, and Mulesoft and/or Salesforce experience.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
