We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineering Team Lead to join our Cloud Solutions team at Scotiabank in Toronto, Canada. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and maintenance of complete technology solutions for projects supporting complex on-premises and cloud-based platforms and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions for cloud-based platforms and applications
  • Leveraging expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Gradle, NodeJS, Restful APIs, Cloud SQL, and Kafka to develop scalable and secure solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align content strategy with project goals and objectives
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, user guidelines, configuration and troubleshooting documents, executive reports, and user-friendly dashboards to support cyber security engineering projects

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in microservice implementation using Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Gradle, NodeJS, Restful APIs, Cloud SQL, and Kafka
  • 5 years of experience in integration and configuration with SaaS platforms preferably Auth0 (Okta CIC)/ForgeRock and having a deep understanding of authentication and its protocols (OIDC, SAML, OAuth) and PKI
  • 5 years of public cloud support experience, preferably in GCP and Azure
  • 5 years of experience in automating deployment processes and working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Google Cloud Deployment, etc.)
  • Experience in Redis cache and Splunk
  • Experience in messaging queue and event hub
  • Experience in implementing security (Authentication solution)

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
