Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Opex Foods Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions.
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas.
    • Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
    • Dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues, management, and customers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
Work Environment

Our dining area is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demands.
