We are a leading provider of innovative solutions for power plant systems, and we are seeking an experienced piping design specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality piping systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piping design, with experience working on complex projects involving steam cycle systems, boiler feed and condensate, water treatment, fuel handling, hydraulic, heat transfer systems, conveying systems, and air and gas systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for drafting sketches, piping and instrument diagrams, and 3D model equipment items for our clients. You will also be expected to check design deliverables against industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting of piping and instrument diagrams
  • Design of 3D equipment items
  • Check of design deliverables against industry codes and standards
  • Collaboration with other engineers and designers to ensure successful project completion

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in design or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in piping design
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Autodesk, SmartPlant 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant software
  • Knowledge of nuclear industry practices and regulations
