Restaurant Manager Job Description

INDIA PARADISE RESTAURANT is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and kitchen operations.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure prompt and courteous service to customers, addressing their complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Organize and maintain inventory, negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, and ensure the restaurant's brand and image are consistently represented.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with a large workload, requiring flexibility, accuracy, and attention to detail. Overtime may be required.
