At Beddington Trail Animal Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Veterinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in animals through physical examinations and laboratory tests.
- Prescribe medication, set bones, dress wounds, and perform surgery as needed.
- Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases.
- Advise clients on animal care, nutrition, and behavior.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.
- Supervise animal health technologists and animal care workers.
Requirements:
- Degree in veterinary medicine or a related field.
- Will train.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
