Job Summary

Pacifica Housing is seeking a highly skilled Leasing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Resident Services department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals and optimize rental income.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals and optimize rental income in alignment with organizational mission, vision, and values.
  • Provide specialized support to Resident Services staff in the delivery of services to residents, including resolving complex resident issues and assisting with scheduling and coverage.
  • Provide operational assistance to the Associate Director of Housing, including preparing reports and statistics, participating in performance management processes, and assisting with the development of protocols and policies.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years' related experience in property leasing, real estate sales, or property management, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a supervisory or leadership role and prior experience working with populations impacted by homelessness, addictions, mental health issues, and/or other barriers to stable housing is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong marketing and customer service acumen with a person-centric approach.
  • Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and be part of an integrated community team.
  • Demonstrated conflict management de-escalation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with residents, staff, and community professionals.
Additional Criteria for Role
  • Completion of a Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector is required before employment commences.
  • First Aid Certification is required.
  • Must have valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with a minimum of $2 million liability 'business class' insurance.
