Medical Care Specialist

The ideal candidate for this position at MD Centres will be a medical professional with a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, and 1-2 years of experience in a clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' physical and mental health by consulting with other medical practitioners.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as required.
- Provide inoculations and vaccinations to prevent and treat diseases.
- Participate in healthcare policy and planning to ensure effective patient care.
- Advise patients on healthcare and provide education on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Report births, deaths, contagious, and other diseases to government authorities as necessary.
- Act as a patient advocate and provide support to patients and their families.
- Coordinate or manage primary patient care to ensure timely and effective treatment.
- Provide acute care management and respond to emergency situations.
- Offer counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
Required certifications include College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Desired personal qualities include client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organization, and a team player attitude.
