The Peel Children's Aid Society is seeking a skilled Privacy and Disclosure Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Information Management and Disclosure department, you will play a critical role in protecting the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process access and disclosure requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Review and analyze records to identify exempt information and formulate access decisions
- Prepare and disseminate disclosure and access requests to stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Manager, Information Management and Disclosure, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Child, Youth and Family Services Act and the Personal Health Information Protection Act
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, stakeholders, and clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a high level of organizational and time management skills
