Administrative Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Alberta Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, including arranging seminars, conferences, and other events.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- Supervise other workers
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Train other workers
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Manage training and development strategies
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
- Maintain and manage digital database
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
- Conduct performance reviews
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Requirements
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Temporary employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 30 to 40 hours of work per week
