We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist (Polymer & Bioconjugate Chemistry) to join our innovative team at Standard BioTools Canada. Based in Markham, ON, this exciting opportunity will enable you to make a practical, viable impact on the development of life-changing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and synthesize innovative reagents for mass cytometry.
  • Develop and implement scientific plans to optimize reagent performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale-up existing products and address performance issues.
  • Contribute to the development of new research and literature review presentations.
  • Author technical procedures and protocols for laboratory equipment and experiments.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Chemistry or related field.
  • Proven ability to incisively solve technical problems and lead projects.
  • Experience with polymer synthesis, post-polymerization modification, and chemical characterization techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to enable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
