Job Summary:

Robert Half is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join their team. As a Level 2 Desk Side Support Analyst, you will be responsible for handling complex end-user support issues and providing guidance to team members. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in the Toronto, Ontario area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain hardware and peripherals, including upgrading and replacing computer parts, and handling documentation and asset inventory.
- Meet and exceed SLA standards by closing tickets in a timely manner while upholding customer service standards.
- Provide guidance to Tier 1 support and team members.
- Understand and utilize ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and how they are used in a corporate environment.
- Facilitate user account management by handling onboarding, change, and departure processes.
- Troubleshoot end-user issues, including providing root-cause analysis on various web and mobile applications, and handling escalated tickets related to server/network issues.

Requirements:
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 related issues.
- Hardware troubleshooting experience is highly desired.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows.
- Microsoft Teams experience is preferred.
- Deep understanding of Active Directory.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request.
- Strong communication and social skills, and the ability to receive criticism well.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
- 5+ years of experience supporting desktop/server operating systems and technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, and VMware.
- Experience working with Azure Cloud.
- Experience troubleshooting AV related issues.
