About the Role

We are looking for a skilled leader who can establish efficient methods to meet work schedules, supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, and train them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create effective work schedules to ensure seamless operations and maximize productivity.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the daily activities of food preparation and portioning staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train Staff: Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately forecast ingredient and supply requirements to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction by implementing quality control measures.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 1-2 years of experience in food service supervision or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
What We Offer

ZAIKA TASTES OF INDIA offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
