Job Overview

Siener Energy is seeking a skilled Amorphous Steel Coremaker to join our team in Trois-Rivieres, Canada. This is a full-time position that requires a mid-level professional with experience in a manufacturing environment.

About the Role

The amorphous steel core maker's primary responsibility is to manufacture high-quality cores according to specifications and procedures while ensuring raw materials compliance and production quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and adjust equipment to optimize production efficiency.
  • Manufacture amorphous steel cores according to applicable specifications and procedures.
  • Ensure raw materials comply with established standards and maintain production quality.
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Record relevant information and complete self-check forms as required.
  • Feed raw materials to equipment during production using proper lifting equipment.
  • Attach and identify cores according to established procedure.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order through regular lubrication and part replacement.
Requirements
  • Secondary School Diploma (SSD) or equivalent.
  • DVS in electromechanics or equivalent technical certification.
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills and manual dexterity.
  • Strong team spirit and collaboration skills.
  • Prioritization and organizational skills for efficient task management.
  • Safe behavior and prioritization of health and safety.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts (Monday to Friday, one week during the day, then one week during the evening, alternating).
What We Offer

Siemens Energy offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
