Job Title: Food Service Counter Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Panada Pizza. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Keep records of food quantities used to optimize inventory and minimize waste.
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a wide range of options for customers.
  • Take customers' orders and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Dental plan and financial benefits as per collective agreement.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of work.
