Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting, cleaning, and trimming fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing
  • Operating fish cleaning and cutting machines, as well as fish meal processing and roe processing equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by cleaning machines and immediate work areas
Work Environment

The work environment may involve odours, cold/ refrigerated temperatures, and wet/damp conditions.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; will train on the job
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods, and bend, crouch, or kneel as needed
  • Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail essential
  • Flexibility and reliability are key qualities for this role
Benefits

The company offers a competitive salary of $43,000 per year (based on 30 hours per week), as well as bonus opportunities as per the collective agreement. CAP PELE BAIT INC also supports newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and employment opportunities.
