Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-time Associate to join our Council team in Ancaster, ON. As an Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and growing the business by assisting the Portfolio Manager in an efficient and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to incoming telephone and email contacts from clients, advisors, and internal partners.
  • Support the Portfolio Manager with general administrative duties, including managing client accounts and preparing reviews and presentations.
  • Request necessary information and documentation from clients to open accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain client households in accordance with the Investment Policy Statement and Know Your Client information.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Must-Have Skills:
  • Certification in Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the securities industry.
  • Enthusiastic, committed, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is between $50,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
