Job Summary

DMV Génétique Services inc. is seeking a highly skilled Biological Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and sample analyses, as well as maintaining medical laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process biological samples from patients, including blood, tissue, and other specimens.
  • Document observations and results of tests, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Clean and maintain medical laboratory equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Perform quality control assessments of testing techniques, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently, with hand-eye coordination, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work under pressure.
