Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to transport glass products across our terminals. As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a heavy vehicle, ensuring the safety of yourself, your cargo, and other road users. You will also be responsible for inspecting the condition of the vehicle, reporting any anomalies, and performing routine activities such as checking total and axial loads.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a heavy vehicle from one place to another, with or without a load, on a given route and predetermined schedule.
  • Be responsible for the vehicle itself, its load, its driving safety, and that of others.
  • Inspect the condition of the vehicle and report any anomalies.
  • Check total and axial loads to predict the reactions of the vehicle.
  • Complete routine activities such as inspecting the vehicle, checking the load, and performing safety checks.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Class 1 - specialized transportation.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • French and English mandatory functional language skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and company policies.
