Risk Management Leader

The Director of Claim Policy plays a critical role in driving strategic direction and making informed decisions to mitigate potential safety hazards. As a key member of the MYR Group team, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing effective safety programs and policies that align with the organization's overall goals.

Job Description
This senior leadership position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in occupational safety and health concepts and principles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving strategic direction, making informed decisions, and developing effective safety programs and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive safety strategies and policies to minimize risks and prevent accidents
* Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives
* Direct and oversee safety programs and standards to reduce potential accidents and injuries
* Manage a high-performing team of safety professionals to support operational groups in all areas of safety
* Ensure compliance with internal safety policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations
* Administer departmental policies and procedures, evaluate results, and direct the development of new or modified budgets and strategic plans
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* In-depth knowledge of electrical construction and occupational safety and health concepts and principles
* Advanced knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations related to safety and occupational health
* Proven ability to drive strategic direction and make informed decisions
* Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to direct and oversee a team of safety professionals
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
