Pastry Chef

At Fairmont Chateau Whistler, we are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the wider food and beverage team to deliver exceptional products to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and service all food items for a la carte, buffet menus, and individual dishes.
- Organize and manage buffets and banquets, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features, and promotions.
- Ensure proper labeling, dating, and storage of all items in the kitchen.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, handling guest allergy concerns with care and importance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the culinary field is required.
- Journeyman's papers or international equivalent are an asset.
- Diploma/Certification in a Culinary discipline is required.
