About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Harmony Hills Early Learning Academy and Youth Centre. As an integral part of our support staff, you will provide administrative assistance to our team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including scheduling appointments, managing contracts, and maintaining accurate records.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries, and relaying messages.
- Data Management: Compile and maintain data, statistics, and other information to support our programs and services.
- Office Management: Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure a well-organized and efficient work environment.
- Technology: Utilize Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, database software, and other tools to support our operations.
- Specialized Tasks: Conduct research, perform data entry, and provide excellent customer service to our clients and stakeholders.
- Area of Specialization: Develop expertise in correspondence, reports and records, and contracts to support our programs and services.
- Security and Safety: Ensure compliance with security protocols, including background checks and vulnerable sector checks.
- Transportation and Travel: Provide reliable transportation to work and participate in occasional travel for training and meetings.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work independently, under pressure, with attention to detail, and repetitive tasks, with minimal supervision.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate adaptability, accountability, accuracy, client focus, flexibility, organizational skills, teamwork, time management, and a quick learning ability.
- Screening Questions: Answer questions about your eligibility to work in Canada, previous experience in this field, and willingness to provide references.

Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Ability to work in English
