The Senior HR Business Partner role contributes significantly to our success by implementing strategies and policies that foster harmonious employee relations while meeting key objectives.

  • Lead the HR agenda for client groups in Labour and Employee Relations, Talent Development, Employee Engagement, and Change Management.
  • Promote a positive work environment through Collective Bargaining Agreements, labour management meetings, and Company policies.
  • Investigate employee concerns and facilitate training programs to enhance management capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Line Managers to assess resourcing needs and provide guidance to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Provide leadership and support to managers in talent development and succession planning processes.
  • Coach Managers on Change Leadership to ensure proper execution and communication of change initiatives.
  • Work closely with Disability Case Managers and other strategic partners to manage and support short-term disability, long-term disability, workers' compensation, and return-to-work programs.
  • Participate in national projects with the broader HR Leadership team.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, or Human Resources is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in HR, including at least two years as an HR Generalist, and labor relations experience in a unionized environment.

The successful candidate must possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of employment standards legislation, and proficiency in MS Office. Occasional travel to branches and national meetings may be required, with flexible work arrangements available.
