Job Summary:

As a Program Coordinator for the Restorative Justice Program at BGC Okanagan, you will play a vital role in promoting restorative justice as a regional movement. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing program volunteers, as well as maintaining administrative records and submitting reports to supervisors and funding partners. This is a term position ending January 15, 2025, or the return of the incumbent.

Key Responsibilities:

- Promote restorative justice principles and practices
- Recruit, train, and manage program volunteers
- Maintain administrative records and databases
- Submit reports to supervisors and funding partners

Qualifications:

- Diploma in a related human/social service field
- Two years recent related experience, including supervisory or volunteer management experience
- Class 5 driver's license
- Successful completion of Agency screening process, including criminal record check

Working Conditions:

- 17 hours per week, Monday to Friday (may require some evening and weekends)
- Rate of pay: $28.88 per hour
