Packaging Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Packaging Operations Specialist to join our team at SUN PHARMA. As a key member of our Packaging Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our packaging lines and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain packaging lines and equipment to ensure high-quality product output.
- Complete GMP documents, including Packaging Work Orders, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform manual functions on the line, such as transferring product and supplying components, to ensure smooth production.
- Ensure drum and lot changes are completed effectively and on-time to minimize waste.
- Perform roll changes of banding and sealing material, and basic troubleshooting of equipment, to maintain optimal production levels.
- Verify in-process test results and component lot changes to ensure product quality.
- Perform line clearance processes to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Assist with counting and reconciliation of components used in the packaging operation.
- Perform housekeeping tasks, such as washing floors and preparing sanitizing agents, to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
