Job Title: Retail Sales Associate - Merchandise Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Petro Canada with A&W. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cash register systems efficiently and accurately process transactions
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of products, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Provide personalized recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Participate in visual merchandising efforts to create an engaging and inviting store environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math concepts
