About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Walden Nails. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Direct Clients

You will be responsible for greeting clients and directing them to the appropriate service area. This may include answering questions, providing information, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Process Client Information

You will be responsible for obtaining and processing information required to provide customer service. This may include taking messages, making appointments, and maintaining accurate records.

Record and Relay Information

You will be responsible for recording and relaying information to clients and staff members. This may include taking notes, sending emails, and making phone calls.

Schedule and Confirm Appointments

You will be responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments with clients. This may include coordinating with staff members, sending reminders, and updating records.

Maintain Work Records and Logs

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and logs. This may include tracking client interactions, monitoring inventory, and reporting on sales.

Perform Clerical Duties

You will be responsible for performing various clerical duties, such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail. This may include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, handling confidential documents, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Answer Telephone and Relay Messages

You will be responsible for answering telephone calls and relaying messages to clients and staff members. This may include taking messages, transferring calls, and providing information.

Provide Directory Assistance

You will be responsible for providing directory assistance to clients and staff members. This may include answering questions, providing directions, and offering recommendations.

Requirements
  • Education

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

Experience is an asset, but not required. A permanent position is available, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
