About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Undergraduate Assistant in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide critical support to the undergraduate program, ensuring seamless delivery of services to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed information to students on program and course requirements
  • Troubleshoot timetabling and room booking conflicts
  • Update and maintain records
  • Coordinate course timetables
  • Check course prerequisites prior to student enrollment
  • Provide administrative support for the petitions process
  • Assist course coordinators with scheduling and coordinating TAs
  • Support the administration of first and second-year learning communities and PUMP summer sessions
Requirements
  • Advanced College Diploma or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years of recent and related experience in a post-secondary environment providing administrative support
  • Experience working with ROSI or similar student systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
