Pizza Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Red Swan Pizza. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
Requirements:
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work under pressure
