Service Technicians

Immediate Openings for Experienced Technicians - Must Hold Valid Technician License to Apply

Budds' Group is currently looking to hire skilled technicians at several of our locations across Southern Ontario

We're seeking a skilled technician to join our team. As a technician, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles. You'll be responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with clients and adhering to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and diagnose vehicles to identify repair needs
  • Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor to determine the best course of action
  • Communicate additional service requests to service advisor to ensure seamless service
  • Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman to ensure efficient repairs
  • Provide labor time estimates to service advisor to manage customer expectations
  • Monitor repair time and update service advisor regularly to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation to ensure quality service
  • Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs to ensure accurate records
  • Assist in mentoring technician trainees to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Attend company and OEM training to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques
  • Understand and follow federal, provincial, and local regulations to ensure compliance

Requirements:

High school diploma and valid Technician license. Valid Driver's License and ODP Certification required.

We offer a competitive flat rate system based on qualifications, with benefits included after a probationary period.
