Job Description

DRA Global is a leading engineering, project delivery and operations management group with an impressive track record spanning over three decades.

We are seeking a Senior Project Planner based out of our Toronto or Montreal office. The role of the Senior Planner is to provide a complete project planning service to the project team, produce and manage project time schedules to the required level of detail and in accordance with the DRA Procedure in either Microsoft Project or Primavera.

The Senior Planner will work in collaboration with the Project Team to oversee the process through to completion and monitor the progress of the project relative to the agreed time frame. This includes gathering all relevant documentation to fully understand the scope of the project, managing activity coding to support client's and own reporting requirements, facilitating Enhanced Systematic Planning (ESP) sessions, developing and maintaining CPM schedules for both studies and execution projects, creating project S-curves and other KPIs for reporting, coordinating sub-contractor's manufacturing, procurement & construction plans, leading and being responsible for the development of overall baseline in accordance with contract, monitoring critical path/activities based on the project schedule and advising project management.

The successful candidate will also undertake delay analysis and ensure the project is compliant to demonstrate planning compliance to the contract and for forensic auditing. Additionally, they will ensure all delivery streams provide accurate, reliable and traceable data to meet reporting obligations, take appropriate planning measures with all clients to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work and maintains client communication planning and reporting, ensure all contractors have an approved schedule that is aligned with and supports the overall project targets and visit site when required.

This position requires strong English and French language capabilities and a minimum of 7 years of experience in MS Projects and Primavera P6. We offer a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
