Head Chef for Yozakura Japanese Restaurant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Yozakura Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and running smoothly.
- Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, managing budgets, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- A minimum of 1 year's experience as a head chef or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine, with the ability to create innovative and delicious dishes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team to achieve high standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A competitive salary of $60,000 per year, based on experience.
