Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality client-centered care as a clinical expert and educator. This role requires strong assessment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities:
  • Client-Centered Care: Provide comprehensive, quality health care services to clients from admission through transfers and discharge.
  • Clinical Expertise: Plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing interventions, including medications and treatments within your scope of practice.
  • Educational Role: Participate actively in teaching programs for nurses and nursing students.
Qualifications:
  • Registration and Certifications: Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate, Level C - Automated External Device (AED) required.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to take professional accountability for leading, organizing, providing, and delegating care activities; excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; and basic computer skills, including proficiency in Meditech, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
