About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
  • Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in electronic cash registers, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Windows, and point of sale systems.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines. Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
