Job Title: Plasterer - Exterior Finishing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team at Brothers Stucco Ltd. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tenders and quotations for exterior plastering projects
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure a strong bond
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
