Job Title: Systems Administrator/Operations Support Specialist

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator/Operations Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our shared hosting environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our client applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Support: Provide technical support and maintenance for our shared hosting environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our client applications.
  • Incident Management: Review and resolve incident tickets in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with service level targets.
  • Change Management: Assess and implement changes to our shared hosting environment, ensuring minimal disruption to our clients.
  • Configuration Management: Manage and maintain our CI inventory, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on the status of assigned tickets and tasks, as well as historical reports on volume, performance, and trends.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience in ITIL Service Management
  • Experience with WebSphere, Oracle 19c, Kubernetes, and Ansible
  • Experience with middleware application suites, such as IBM WebSphere Application Server/NDM/Liberty
  • Experience with ITIL Incident Management and Change Management processes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with standard MS office suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working within the BPS or other government
  • Experience with cloud-based computing solutions and concepts
  • Experience with network topologies (firewalls, load balancers, DNS)
