Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and develop strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Set staff work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing labor costs.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and a positive dining experience.
  • Train staff on new procedures, policies, and products to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, promoting our brand and driving sales growth.
  • Lead and instruct individuals, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to succeed.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing a positive resolution and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Provide customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience and driving customer loyalty.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
