Job Overview

Brunel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Specialist to join our team. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring the overall quality and integrity of assigned studies.

About the Role
  • We are looking for an expert in Flow Cytometry with at least 3-5 years of experience in regulated clinical and/or preclinical studies.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, planning, managing, conducting, reporting, and troubleshooting multiple assay types.
  • You will be assigned to studies and tasks based on your scientific competency and training.
  • Your expertise will include method development, validation, or sample analysis projects.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop, plan, manage, conduct, report, and troubleshoot multiple assay types to ensure scientific quality, regulatory expectations, and client satisfaction.
  2. Assigned to studies and tasks based on scientific competency and training.
  3. Responsible for method development, validation, or sample analysis projects.
  4. Manage project timelines and scheduling commitments.
  5. Review and provide comments and recommendations for bioanalytical portions of protocols, study plans, laboratory manuals, and other documents.
  6. Mentor Analysts in daily operations and support and mentor other team members based on expertise.
  7. Troubleshoot issues within studies and resolve them independently via development of appropriate procedures.
  8. Organize and communicate complex data sets to key stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
  • University or College degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology, or applicable field.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in regulated clinical and/or preclinical studies, preferably in a CRO environment and with Flow Cytometry.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, highly flexible, sense of urgency, excellent troubleshooting skills, client-oriented, and attentive to details.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal in French and English.
What We Offer

Brunel offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
